Union County Transportation (UCT) participated in its second Roadeo competition of the North Carolina Public Transportation Association (NCPTA) with yet another year of impressive results. The annual NCPTA Roadeo event attracts drivers and bus operators from across the state to compete in a rigorous course designed to assess their driving skills and safety operations.
Among the standout performers was Marco Jimenez, a full-time driver who earned third place in the individual competition. The UCT Driver Team, comprising Jimmy Huntley, Marco Jimenez, and Blane Moon, claimed a respectable fifth place in the team competition. And congrats to Blane Moon, a full-time driver who clinched the 65' TV as part of the NCPTA raffle.
Transportation Services Director Theresa Torres expressed continued pride in the team's performance, stating, "As we mark our second year in the Roadeo competition, we are thrilled with our team's success and their ongoing commitment to excellence!"
